i have read the seiris before. i cant wait!
awe…i wanna be an extra!
holy crap… i just finished Book 4 and i need to finish reading the series! looks awesome and i’m so happy a Canadian comic book is going on the big screen… what i love even more is that since the books are set in (for the most part) real locations they will film in a real Toronto Neighborhood, in the actual malls, shops, venues they mention in the books (as far as i have seen in the photos)
Edgar your a legend! Can’t wait
OH JESUS —–
ARGH, MY EARS
Please, Edgar, get them to stop with the cheesy bongo effect.
PLEASE.
Raah ! So Short !!
Looks Awesome (Haha, seeing everyone turning their head to see what we can only remember from the comic book is priceless :D)
HAMMERTIME!!
That shot of Young Neil in full costume… I almost peed my pants.
Haha, nice to see this captured on video. I was one of the extras in the background, and lemme tell ya, everyone who is envious of being an extra on this film, it was not that glorious or fun.
Wow you had fans be extras why wasn’t I informed of this. you know ill travel across 3 countries to be in one of your movies. Just please let me be in the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy I beg of you.
oh, man, Young Neil looks so much LIKE YOUNG NEIL!
Chick Fight!!!
call me simple, but there’s no other greater inticement to see a movie than an epic girl fight.
Especially two such glorious specimens of womanhood as M.E. Winstead and Mae Whitman.
Oh man, I’m stoked for this movie. The fight scenes should be great and the casting is great too. Still not completely sold on Michael Cera, though.
Great Blog, lots of guilty whispering and high kicking.
I just finished book 5 before watching this so I’m a few steps closer to understanding what is going on :D
Any chance you can catch the elusive Nira Parks (producer…or one of in this films case…) in the next Blog? I’ve heard her voice on the ‘Spaced’ commentaries, but never seen her pulling the strings of production (…isn’t sure quite what a producer does…) (maybe Nira can shed some light on that…((the hook is baited))…waits patiently… ) :p
looks amazing!
it was cool to see that bit at 1.51 where Wallace is kissing the dude. i remember laughing at that bit in the comic.
Im REALLY looking forward to this. They’re almost slavishly adhering to the source; but with something so idiosyncratic you almost have to. Glad to see the Hammer makes it into the movie as well. Truly, truly, psyched for this movie.
Been following the vlog 6-7 weeks now, and just amazed at the progression. We at Film Munkey and JunkFilm.today.com are highly anticipating this film with bated breath. Huge fan of the comic, huge fan of the director! Thank you for making these vlogs, they get us through the week.
haha… I just saw my life for the past two weeks compressed into 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Talk about an existential crisis.
Tish, you’re super cute in that video :)
stephen stills’ western shirt is PERFECT.
Awesome!!
I envy the extras
Thanks E for another great vlog
Looking at this film is really making me wonder how i will direct, if i do become that Oscar award winning Director i always wanted to become.
Looking awesome!
E.,
Good to see your fake punches make actual connections now. ;)
