    I love that you're shooting in those specific reference locations, but are the characters going to have actual Canadian accents? It won't be a deal-breaker if they don't, but it'd be kind of nice.

    I'm from Toronto. so called "canadian accents" don't exist in places like toronto or any of the other big canadian cities, except for places on the east coast like Newfoundland where people sound like they're somewhat Scottish. Americans don't have American accents, except for in places like the south. Canada is so vast and the cities so far apart that it would be impossible for all of us to have a similar "Canadian Accent". It's a stereotype (that we perpetuate).

    In response to hoover: Do Torontonians even have "Canadian accents?" I spent two months there and noticed nothing of the sort, but then again English isn't my first language so it might've been too subtle.

    You guys were filming right around the corner from my school, so i watched for like an hour! i got soo excited when michael Cera was there!
    there was fake snow everywhere!
    so anyways..i LOVE Michael Cera! ,&& i can't wait for the movie to come out!

    I just wanted to let you know that I actually had a great time being an extra for this scene, and would have loved to do it again. It really did feel cold, but that must mean that the snow must be really convincing! Im really looking forward to seeing the finished product! Best of luck.
